Beginner friendly alignment-based resistance training for a full body activation and transformation. Pilates is excellent for building internal core strength and control that reflects as grace in your day-to-day movements. Perfect addressing old injuries, improving posture, and increasing body awareness. This is not mindless strength training— it is a holistic training that strengthens mind body and spirit.
Gentle yet activating flows that open up your energy centers, focus your mind, and helps to relieve tension in the body. Using the breath to guide our movements we will experience the profound benefits of presence and intention when linked with movement. We will we've in yoga principles that are effective on and off the mat. The purpose of yoga is to arrive to meditation where peace can be experienced no matter where you are.
Dharma discussions are group dialogues centered around spiritual teachings, non-violent living, and the path of spiritual awakening. Studying scriptures from sacred texts like the Bhagavad Gita and the Yoga Sutras, we will explore teachings of impermanence, compassion, suffering, devotion, selfless service, and love — we will envision how these ancient teachings can be applied to our modern lives as we move forward towards liberation, healing, and self-realization.
