FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is yoga a religion?

Yoga has roots in India and Ancient Kemetic Eygpt and sometimes includes references to deities and stories, but it is not a religion. Yoga is a set of practices anyone can follow to deepen self-understanding and explore the nature of life.

What is the difference between yoga, Pilates, and meditation?

Many people think of yoga simply as stretching the body—and while increased flexibility is one benefit, yoga is much more than physical movement. At its core, yoga is a way of living consciously, rooted in service and love for the interconnected web of life. When we live with awareness of the whole, we contribute to a world of nonviolence, peace, and reverence for the planet that sustains us.

Pilates is a resistance-based practice focused on alignment, core strength, and posture. It transforms how we move—building strength, grace, and resilience from the inside out. Through consistent practice, Pilates supports long-term mobility, enhances body confidence, and creates ease and power in daily life.

Meditation invites us to turn inward, slowing our thoughts and movements to rest in the stillness that underlies all things. It is here—in this quiet space—that we access deep healing, inner peace, and the clarity needed to reset and restore balance in our often busy lives.
Though yoga, Pilates, and meditation are distinct practices, they beautifully complement and enhance one another. Together, they support a life of strength, presence, joy, and peace.
